Vallelunga: magnificent mountains to explore
Hotel Langtaufererhof is situated on a hill at an altitude of 1,870 m above sea level, right in the heart of Vallelunga/Langtaufers in South Tyrol. In this majestic mountain setting, between the villages of Curon/Graun and Melago/Melag, our hotel is the ideal starting point for long hiking tours and ski touring. The imposing peaks of the Weißkugel (3,739 m a.s.l.) and the Weißeespitze (3,525 m a.s.l.) are there, just waiting to be scaled.
The relative isolation of this pristine side valley in the Venosta Valley with its age-old villages have kept it relatively secluded and helped to preserve it as one of the most unspoilt parts of the Eastern Alps. Thanks to its special location, the Langtaufererhof Hotel is able to cater to the needs of Alpine skiers in the winter, as well as hikers and athletes in summer. The excellent training conditions are partly due to the low atmospheric pressure in the area. Those more in search of relaxation and mental regeneration or sufferers of allergies have a magnificent mountain landscape to enjoy while inhaling the pure mountain air, which benefits everyone.
