With its spectacular mountain landscape and steep verdant slopes covered in forest, Vallelunga/Langtaufers in South Tyrol offers numerous opportunities for cyclists keen to test themselves. The cycle routes following the old wartime mountain tracks and forest roads are quite challenging but riders are also thrilled by the breath-taking descents into the valley.

The Melager Alm mountain pasture, the Grauner Alm mountain pasture and the Bergrestaurant Maseben mountain restaurant, also called Atlantis der Berge, are an integral part of the comprehensive cycling itinerary in the Vallelunga. Many of the mountain bike trails are typically steep and determined cyclists are rewarded with spectacular views. The 3-Länder-Enduro-Trails and the Plamort plateau in the area surrounding Reschensee lake are considerably demanding.
